Mayer Arts is a program that operates out of various communities all over the Twin Cities Metro Area. Started in New York City in 2001, we work with schools, churches, cities and community centers to provide dance and theater classes for children of all ages. Our mission is to provide professional training for students in a positive, fun and creative atmosphere.

The integration of dance, drama, music and literature is great for so many reasons. Children can explore and learn in a variety of ways, while developing their own unique abilities and strengths. Learning is fun and meaningful when framed within the classic children’s stories. Students also learn the value of working together to create something beautiful.

Our daughter Lucia was in the Saturday tap and ballet class. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful we think Meg was. Lucia loved going to her class and talked for weeks about the BIG recital. The recital on Saturday was great. We loved watching all the girls. They did a great job!

My daughter was privileged enough to take tap/ballet from Meg in Maplewood. The recital was just wonderful!!!! My daughter grew so much and she adored her time at dance class. She will only be 4 years old and I appreciate the creative and fun atmosphere of the classes. I would rather have my daughter continue with the Mayer Arts experience instead of going to a studio environment since this past year was so incredibly positive! Gina maintains a well-structured class with plenty of room for laughter and imagination! She is caring and patient, and instructs with such enthusiasm and joy.
